I'm Back!

First of all, lemme clear out the cobwebs from this blog  before I write anything, its been ages, *dust, dust.dust* and quite a lot has happened over the days...or weeks...or even months since I came on here (yes, I know). I've been at my work, met and unmet some people , had my birthday: still in my birthday month by the way, made some really awesome friends at work, can't believe I've already spent almost four months there! How time flies! (And please don t add "when you are enjoying yourself") and yeah, I got myself a new phone for my birthday, now that deserves a shout. Yippee *big grin*
So now I am back and I promise not to dissapear again, So help me God. Oh gosh, I ve so missed me... as in this me, the blogging me or something like that. Well I hope you sha understand.
This post is not really about much, just me welcoming myself back to the blog after a looooooong absence. And please just a plea to every1 reading this (well, maybe just me) please let's be hygiene conscious, Ebola is real, and even though I know it would never come near me and mine, we can never be too careful, better safe than sorry. Ok, that said,I will round up with this, to those who have increased the price of hand sanitisers to triple the normal price, remember, there is God Oh!

Olajumoke 's wedding

Yeeey, today was my sweetie's birthday and wedding, I've been soooo excited and now its finally here. I had to take a trip to ibadan, the bride's hometown after work yesterday,I could hardly concentrate at work. Ok ,kidding, not that bad but almost. Really, I know if it was those jobless old days ,I probably would have been there by then, I got there on thursday for the introduction that took place on a saturday, no , I wasn't too early, we were the one 'doing' wedding now, lol. This time I got there late on friday evening! Painful *sadface here*. Well, joblessness wasn't fun too ,so no complains. The bride, Jumoke, is a very good friend of mine, its her birthday today also so that's double honour for her. We met during service and she's been a real gem! The sweetest part of the love story is that they 've been together for so long and they still kept it together. If and when you eventually get to read this, Olajumoke, happy married life, wishing you all the best and don't forget that your first baby is going to be a girl and her name will be Oyeronke. Yipeee, can't wait to be a godmother.
The wedding was so beautiful and spectacular and good ol' Kizzle was right smack in the middle of it looking sweet, yeah, I know, well in fairness to me though, quite a few people told me that today, well, back to the party,The Aso ebi was royal blue lace with peach and royal blue 'gele. The combination was quite nice and there we were all looking peachy and catchy, yeah, we were, and yeah. I can say it. It was a really hectic day and I can't wait to get into bed. Just had to post this though.Goodnyt ....Blog.

World cup matters!

"OPEN LETTER TO My dear Girlfriend...
The Fifa World Cup is close by. Let me give u a few rules that will preserve your beauty, life and
this relationship. 1.The remote control belongs to me for the whole month.2.Tell all your friends
not to give birth or wed or die or whatever during the World Cup cos we won't go. 3.You support
the teams that I support.4.No talking during the game, wait for half-time or end of the
game.5.Repeats & highlights are as good as the main match,so am gonna watch them.6.We can
watch Telemundo provided actors and actresses are wearing soccer jerseys and they are in
brazil.7.U don't just pass infront of the tv if am watching soccer, you better crawl on the
floor.8.Make sure you don't ask silly questions such as; is this Chelsea versus England? 9.No
funny faces to my friends when they come to watch any of the matches.10.Smile every time
EXCEPT when my team is losing.
With that been said..we gonna have a great time together. Love you to the moon and back".
Just got this broadcast on my bbm and thought it was really funny. Except its real, and this is what every lady should expect during this world cup period especially if you are married or cohabiting. But better still ladies should find other things to interest them and leave John, Segun, Bode and all to their football. Minimise the calls during this period .Especially if his team is loosing

My very first Post!

Yeeey, I almost can't believe I'm actually starting this after so many months of considering it. Congrats to me. Yeah, I said congrats, dats how much I've come to love blogging.I m starting this on the 29th of May, that's Democracy day in Nigeria. Hmmm, is there a message in there for me?!. I'm actually just so excited
So this blog is just going to be about me, A relatively simple Nigerian Girl living a relatively simple Nigerian life and plannng to turn that into a not so simple life, yeah, notching it up more than a bit.And you, dear future follower will be on the train*insert grin here*. Promise we are going to make this fun. Not just me blogging about my oftentimes boring days. There's going to be so much more. There s just soooo much to talk about in Nigeria. There always is. And don't I just love talking!. Ok, before the talking streak takes over, lemme just stop here. And yeah the posting won't be daily, weekly or in any fixed order. As long as there's something to talk about, we talk. Yeah I can be talk-active like that ,hehehe.Ok this is going to be very short, anyways am not planning to show anyone the blog yet, shyness is still catching me lol. But thanks in advance to everyone that will be following later. Love love love.
